"yeah, but what will it look like?"

Drafting and 3D modeling are essential tools in my design kit. The modeling illustrates “what” the element will look like, while the drafting instructs others on “how” to make it happen.
I frequently use combinations of SketchUp software, computer drafting, and old-school hand drafting to illustrate concepts and ideas before fabrication begins. Discoveries made during the modeling and drafting process often help identify future challenges, find efficiencies, and bring a better sense of understanding to the project team.
